Brad Silimperi – Club Director, Coach – Coach Silimperi is the founder and club director of TEAM APACHE WRESTLING CLUB and is the head coach at Council Rock South High School. He was an assistant at Council Rock High School for 5 years before the school split and also served as head coach at Richboro Junior High School for 2 years. At CR SOUTH Coach Silimperi has produced 25 District One Champions, 13 Southeast Regional Champions, 16 PIAA State medalists and 5 PIAA State Individual Champions. In only their 3rd year in existence (2005) Coach Silimperi along with the CR SOUTH coaching staff led the CR South Golden Hawks to their first ever PIAA State Team Wrestling Championship. In 2007 Coach Silimperi and his staff were the District 1 Coaching Staff of the year.Coach Silimperi wrestled for Nazareth High School in the famed District 11, where he set the school record for wins with a career mark of 131-9-1. He was a 3 time District 11 Champion, 4 time Northeast Regional Champion and 3 time PIAA state finalist, winning a state championship in 1988. After high school he attended the University of North Carolina and then transferred to Lock Haven University< /st1:PlaceType>, where he was coached by Council Rock alumni, Carl Poff. While at Lock Haven University, Coach Silimperi was a 2 time NCAA DIV. 1 National Qualifier and a 2 time NCAA Academic All-American. After graduating from LHU, Coach Silimperi has taught in the Council Rock School District for the past 13 years. Currently he teaches Advanced Placement Psychology and Accelerated Psychology at South. In addition to teaching, Coach Silimperi likes to spend his free time down the shore. Trap McCormack: Head Assistant Coach – Trap wrestled for Bald Eagle Nittany High School and posted an amazing 138-4 record. He was a 4 time District Champ, 3 time regional champ, and 3 time PIAA AA State Champion. After high school, Trap attended Lock Haven University and lettered 4 years. He was a 4 time NCAA qualifier, 2 time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference champion, Eastern Wrestling League Champ, and Academic All-American .Trap currently teaches Health and Physical Education at Council Rock South. He resides in Warminster with his wife Erin and son Teague and daughter Finley.
Jack Fitzpatrick: Coach–Jack graduated in 1992 from Archbishop Wood High School, in Warminster, Pennsylvania. He placed second at the National Prep Wrestling Tournament at Lehigh University. He finished his high school career with 108 wins, 43 in one season. Jack was a two time league champ, while also lettering two years in soccer. He attended and wrestled for Trenton State College, now The College of New Jersey. Jack took over the Head Coaching position in 2004 at Archbishop Wood, after being an assistant there for 7 years. He also ran the Predator Wrestling Club out of Warminster for 3 years, and has served as a coach at the Apache Wrestling Club for over 6 years. Jack currently teaches and coaches at Richboro Middle School in the Council Rock School District, and lives in Doylestown, PA, with his wife Traci, and son Caden. fitzjack@verizon.net
Joe Jamison: Coach– Joe Jamison is in his fourth season as an assistant coach at Princeton University. He is also the assistant for a local club squad, Team Apache, and is a USA Wrestling certified coach.
Prior to working at Princeton, he was the head coach at Lawrence Middle School in Lawrenceville, N.J. for two seasons, in which his team won a championship in his first season.
Before he began his coaching career, Jamison competed at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He compiled a record of 32-20 in two varsity seasons, and he missed his other two seasons due to injury. Jamison graduated from King’s in 2001 with degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education and was a member of the 2000 Middle Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team.
A native of Churchville, Pa., Jamison wrestled at Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pa. Over three varsity seasons, he compiled a record of 75-35, including a 34-6 campaign in 1997. Jamison was a two-time Philadelphia Catholic League All-Catholic Selection and a National Prep School All-American.
Jamison is an elementary teacher in Lawrenceville, N.J., and recently earned a master’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Integrating Technology into the Curriculum. He currently resides in Newtown, Pa.
Jim Savage: Coach – Jim wrestled for Northeast Catholic High School, and graduated in 1992, posting a 96-12-2 high school record, while placing 3rd in the National Prep Wrestling Tournament. He went on to compete at Slippery Rock and captain the LaSalle University wrestling team, completing his college career with a 62-45 record. Since then, he has been coaching at Northeast Catholic, capturing seven league titles, while coaching 18 prep school All-Americans, and 47 First Team All Catholics. He currently teaches mathematics at Father Judge HS, and resides in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia.
Darrell Martoccio: Coach -Darrell has been involved in wrestling for more than 37 years. He did his high school wrestling at Morrisville High School where he won 86 matches (among the tops in Bucks County career wins for that time). Additionally, Darrell won two sectional titles, two district titles and qualified for the state championships. Darrell did his collegiate wrestling at Trenton State College, and he wrestled for the U.S. Army freestyle and Greco Roman team during his time of enlistment from 1983 to 1986. Darrell has coached wrestling in the Council Rock School District at one school or another since 1989, and has been a coach at Council Rock South High School since the program began five years ago. Darrell also coaches youth wrestling in the Palisades School District. He lives in Holland with his three boys, Matt, Dan, and Lucas – all wrestlers.
Joe Rigous: Coach Rigous has an incredible resume. He is currently the head coach at WILLIAM TENNENT High School and he has coached at all levels developing wrestlers of all ages. He has been a coach of the SPARTAN YOUTH WRESTLING CLUB in Warminster from 1998-2007. Coach Rigs joined the Apache staff in 2007.He also is a coach of the SEPA WRESTLING CLUB and served as a coach on their 2007 Junior National Team. Currently Coach Rigous is the HEAD WRESTLING COACH at WILLIAM TENNENT HIGH SCHOOL. He also has served as an assistant coach at both CB West and CB East High Schools from 2004-2007. Coach Rigous was a graduate of NESHAMINY HIGH SCHOOL, MAPLE POINT in 1977 and East Stroudsburg University in 1985. On the mat his accomplishments speak for themselves. Here is a short list!
